‘Envisage’ is our attempt at recreating a classic flush casement window, emanating from the 19th Century. Once Envisage windows are incorporated into your house, it will have historic styling and draughts will disappear forever. The cost of your energy bills will also be more manageable, and security levels will improve as we build a multi-point locking mechanism into the window design.

Lines & proportions – Whether you’re familiar with a traditional flush casement window or not, we can tell you that the lines and proportions of an Envisage window are identical to the lines and proportions of an original flush casement. Add astragal bars for decoration too.

Handles & stays – It’s not just the lines and proportions that we’ve imitated with Envisage. The hardware is also similarly authentic, meaning the handles and hinges of the design. Our hardware experts took their time trying to mimic traditional flush casement window furniture.

Shades & textures – Flush casement windows traditionally had a very flat design and white window profile. Envisage windows aren’t as flat, nor do they only come in white. With a beautifully flush finish, Envisage is available in all manner of colours and woodgrains so that the windows can be matched to brick, stone or different decors.

No traditional flush casement window comes close to an Envisage window for security. Within the design is an exclusive advanced locking mechanism called ‘Secure It’, which runs along the entire length of the window. We can safely say that it has been tested over and over again – 30,000 times to be precise. It held up in this testing and ‘Secure It’ also satisfies PAS24 requirements and can comply with Secured by Design requirements – the respected Police-run scheme. Envisage windows are about as secure as you can possibly get.

At the design stage of securing new Envisage windows, Coastline will introduce you to the hardware suite for this historic range. It includes handles, hinges and a host of other hardware solutions, which you can use to furnish the window and make it multi-functional. The hardware will also be fundamental to the smoothness with which the window operates.

If we were to give you any piece of advice, it would be that you choose your hardware based on the age and character of your home. Modern residences tend to suit strong-lined hardware, whereas traditional properties need detailed hardware. Our hardware options are also built to the same high standards of our Envisage window profiles.

Astragal bars are one of the many available accessories for the Envisage range. When added to an Envisage window, they make the window seemingly look as though it is made up of multiple individual panes. The other accessories we have for Envisage include arched-head inserts to soften the lines of the window frame, and various window cills, including a very wide selection of deeper cills.

Coastline uses the very latest technology to develop our many glazing options, including ultra-slim glass coatings that you can barely see. The sealed window unit is filled with an inert gas, and we also integrate a warm-edge spacer bar to generate a thermal barrier within the window to keep heat trapped and cold air out.
