Traditional Orangeries

The classic brick-built pillars and walls of traditional orangeries offer both practical and stylish benefits.

The sky sightlines are just one significant feature of the traditional orangery that help single it out from any other design. Inside and outside, this traditional design consists of everything you would expect of a time-old offering that forever endures, including the lantern roof. To finish it off in style, make sure that the internal and external colours chosen are complementary to the entire structure so that it captures the attention of all who see it, from whatever perspective.

Customers of Coastline are rarely disappointed by the standard of service they receive...

Design - Buying an orangery is a very personal thing, not to mention a big buying commitment. So it’s totally understandable to want an orangery that ticks every single one of your boxes. If you have things in mind for the design, you only need to tell Coastline and we will do our best to make them a reality. You will be able to see your new orangery come to life on our 3D design software.

Survey - Before any installation work begins, we will need to conduct a survey at your house. The survey will be insightful as it will tell us where the orangery, and any accompanying windows and doors, should be positioned.

Planning Permission - On occasions, orangeries meet Permitted Development Rights and don’t require planning permission. However, if your orangery needs planning permission, Coastline will be able to assist with obtaining it.

Installation -No aspect of the installation falls outside of our expertise. Coastline is more than capable of digging foundations, erecting walls, fitting windows frames and roofs, and installing glass. We will give you a timeline for the installation at the start of the project.

Build Process – It’s not a long and exhaustive job building an orangery, contrary to what you may believe. Coastline can have an orangery fully constructed and accessorised relatively quickly, and your orangery won’t be any different. We also promise to cause as little disruption as we can while building it.

Finishing - Orangeries should always be finished in style. How you go about that should involve plastering the internal walls, putting down ceramic tiles, fitting electricals etc. Just before we leave your house after unveiling the orangery to you, Coastline will hand you a questionnaire to get your thoughts on what we’ve done. This essential feedback is invaluable, and if you’re happy, then we’re happy too.
